Readers - Books and Conversation with Jim Moginie

What an honour it was the have Jim Moginie at the Petersham Bowling Club. The renowned guitarist and songwriter and member of iconic Australian band Midnight Oil is also a writer - his memoir is 'The Silver River'.

He spoke to us about his life in music, years and tours and songwriting in Midnight Oil and how the band worked. He talked about other musical collaborations too and his life of Irish music. Jim spoke about families - lost and found. He was honest, wise and even played a bit of 'Beds are Burning' on his Irish guitar. It was a delight to be in conversation with him at the PBC.
